Enrico Tonucci, designer by Pesaro, has created for Fiam the console in curved glass Elementare. He was born in Pesaro in 1946 and he graduated at the local at the Institute of Art in 1963. He attended a Master of Art course in Florence and a course in Scenography at the Academy of Art in Urbino/ the faculty of arts and teaching/the class of mastery of arts in Florence and the class of scenic design at the Academy of Arts in Urbino.
In 1970 he established the Tonuccidesign studio and began to work as designer and creative consultant for Italian and international companies and architects.
In 1976 he founded Triangolo, a workshop of experimental design where he produces furniture with a Nordic image but with a Mediterranean atmosphere. Over the years Triangolo has become a company.
He bought the company Arte&Cuoio in 1992 becoming its art director.
In 2003 he became art director for the company Gruppo Curvet Ambienti S.p.a which includes important brands such as Simon, Triangolo, Arte&Cuoio, R.S.V.P., Sica and Zeritalia.
In 2006 he decided to found Manifestodesign, the brand through which he completely dedicated himself to research and the with a collection of unique products all made in Italy with natural row materials of prime quality.
Some of the companies he has works in partnership with during his career are Schönbuch, Walter Knoll, Scavolini, FIAM, Italcomma, Fratelli Guzzini, Rede Guzzini, Alpi, Sica, Bigelli Marmi, Tonon, Malobbia International, Teatro Delle Muse, Ernestomeda e Berloni.
Enrico Tonucci received prestigious awards and accolades for his work and he filled also public and institutional roles.
He still lives and works in Pesaro.
